Renowned guitarist Gabriel Santiago leads an all-star band featuring Gonzalo Teppa (bass), Adriano Santos (drums), and Diogo da Silva (percussion), performing a vibrant mix of original compositions and Brazilian jazz classics. Special guest vocalist Gisele Duquè adds to the evening with a powerful set of beloved MPB songs.

Friday August 8: Choro & Forró Dance Night
Featuring: Dexter Payne Quintet with Dandha da Hora and guests
Kick off a dance lively night with the Dexter Payne Quintet and special guests, featuring spirited instrumental choro and forró. Special guest vocalist Dandha da Hora joins the band, along with percussionist Carl Dixon, to bring beloved Brazilian forró classics to life with powerful vocals and joyful energy—inviting everyone to the dance floor.

Experience the vibrant spirit of Brazil at Colorado Brazil Fest! Get swept into the spirit of Brazil with Gisele Duquè, a bold new voice in Brazilian music, delivering a night of samba, soul, and swing with raw energy and refined artistry. Dance performances by Samba Colorado and Escola de Samba Denver bring colorful energy to the stage. The high energy continues with Dandha da Hora—a masterful singer and dancer from Salvador, Bahia and longtime member of the legendary Afro-Brazilian group Ilê Aiyê—joined by Ginga band and the powerful percussion of Bateria Alegria.
